Crazy how California is still pushing for high density housing. I thought Covid would at least kill this idea once and for all. I do not get why people push for this. It is just awful on every level .

The idea is that these people came up with some kind of fantasy world where if they just pack everyone into denser housing and depopulate rural areas, then "The Environment" would be better off. It's just ridiculous. It is basically based on the usual "Progressive" self-loathing
