I’d like to remind everyone that the origin of Trick or Treating is based on Catholic tradition to pray for the souls of loved ones in Purgatory on the Eve of All Saints Day, and children would go door-to-door begging for “soul cakes” as a fun exchange for prayers for loved ones.

Covid in 2022 is 30x less deadly than Covid in 2020. I just downloaded the massive CDC Case Surveillance file. The median age of death for COVID is about 80 years old. If an 80-yr-old contracts Covid TODAY, their risk is about the same risk as a 40 year old in 2020. Very low.

Sitting here reflecting on how POWERFUL courage is. The Babylon Bee 🐝 was banned (and figured they might be) when they tweeted their joke about Rachel Levine. They did it anyway. Less than a year later, Elon Musk owns Twitter Moral of the story: Have the courage to sacrifice.
