To be clear, I am not implying this is actually funny. I used the weeping laugh because it is tragicomic. The joke is on Trump, who told so many lies, for being so easily lied to by his officials. It’s a tragedy that they think it’s OK to lie to Americans....

No. This isn't funny. Think about the precedent this sets. This is all kinds of dangerous. So the next time the Pentagon disagrees with the elected President of the United States they will do what? The people responsible for this need to be charged and thrown into jail.

Trump entered office beaming about the generals (Mattis, Kelly, McMaster) he was bringing into his administration. Safe to say, his eyes have been opened. If Biden goes on to win and Trump run again in 2024, I think we're going to see a much different tack.
