@DomGiles1 that income tax ["membership" :)] later on should cover it -
Dom is referring to a graduate tax, which is actually very close to what coalition did. Tories have changed since been in on their own.

A graduate tax is far better than an upfront loan with interest building at 6.1% for years before you can start paying it off!

Agreed. The problem is that the two main parties were against scrapping fees. Many of the LDs did actually vote against raising.
