We may now know a more accurate historical version of crises in our history (i.e. 9/11, Pearl Harbor, etc.) But at the time, it was moments like those that caused the Hatfield's and McCoy's to lay down their arms and unite - as we had an external danger to us all.

If this is accurate, then MiL hasn’t been paying attention over the last two decades to Dem politics. Dems, Dem media will not give in. They need to be defeated. They need to be outed. And anyone law breaking needs to pay appropriate consequences. Public will get it 5:5.
