Flint caused this themselves.

America first right...you know Flint is in AMERICA right

-
@LittleMissFlint Each state has to be responsible with their budget and resources. Flint wasn't. They should've made better choices. It's also the overall well-being of ALL AMERICANS. Not just one little area. Stopping ILLEGAL immigration benefits the ENTIRE country. -
There are dozens of cities and hundreds of schools across this country that have bad water. It’s not just Flint.

-
Charlotte NC just found high levels last year. And schools that is older than 20 years probably had lead in the water. It's a national issue.
-
Wilmington,NC was informed abiut a year and half ago that Chemours has been polluting our deinking source for years against the Federal EPA standards. But I guess that is the citizens fault, right?
-
It's the fault of capitalism. And greed

Well, did you vote for the demonrats that failed to take care of the water?
#CheckYourself -
As much as I would love to vote the incompetent politicians out of office unfortunately I personally can’t vote yet...see I’m only 11

How does an 11 year old know how to hack
#Twitter in to getting a check mark and tens of thousands of followers?#BotMuch#Hack#FakeAccount -
lmao You're calling her a hacker just because she schooled you? Don't be a sore loser. This child is smart and knows what she's talking about. That check mark is do to the fact that she's known as Little Miss Flint. Please read what's under her picture.
-
How ironic. You talk about being schooled, yet your grammar is pathetic.

Exactly, you’re a kid. That is a state and local government failure. This is federal and a matter of national security for all Americans. Stay in your lane.
-
Miss me with the "stay in your lane". Clean water for all kids should be right up there with national security. I know what bad water does to kids, i see it first hand and I'm trying to prevent it from happening elsewhere.
-
Again, national security is a federal government issue. It is one that concerns all Americans. Flint drinking water is a state & local govt failure. If federal funds get diverted to solve a state problem it represents a massive failure of state govt. Wall funding is federal.
-
The federal government responds to disasters in states ALL THE TIME. It's the primary reason why FEMA exists. When a state governor declares a state of emergency, it allows the federal government to intervene.
-
Disasters. Hurricanes, fires, earthquakes. Not states mismanagement. I have no problem with some federal help, but the state is responsible for fixing a crisis they themselves caused.
-
Mass lead poisoning qualifies as a disaster. The fed government is already providing supplies and funding toward fixing the Flint crisis. They have the authority and, many would argue, the responsibility to fix the problem since local and state government is unwilling or unable.
-
And it's absurd that you're on here telling a child that she ought to live with the repercussions of her corrupt government's mistake and mismanagement because it's their fault while we apparently have billions we can spend on a useless campaign promise.
-
You find it useless, million of us do not. And if a child is going to speak out, that child should be educated, by me and you and anyone else willing to educate them. There is more than one side to everything, but often they hear only one.
