I guess your one of the lucky ones, I follow a lot of people and a lot of the times if they don’t say something on another site I wouldn’t of known they uploaded. It happens to a lot of people. And creators are upset over having to push you to hit the bell an get notified.

I just don't see why people would use something other than the sub box to see new content from their fav creators. I just don't see the point of going to the front or trending page unless you have already seen all the new stuff in the sub page and are bored

Yeah that’s the issues, people are using the sub box and because of their algorithm videos aren’t showing up. I never use the front page. Only use my sub box, but they are saying if you want to for sure see them hit the bell. It gets annoying having notifications Go off all day

Isn't that what Youtube said and you responded saying it was a bad idea? Or I am missing something?https://twitter.com/TeamYouTube/status/977335508434010112?s=19 …

TeamYouTubeVerified account @TeamYouTubeReplying to @Chaosxsilencer @YouTubeIn the past, some viewers were frustrated with how many notifications they received. Not everyone felt that way, so we added the bell. For any subs who are worried they're missing content, they can get all notifications by changing their settings here: http://goo.gl/XLDtz41 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Your missing http://something.You tube said to hit the bell. Which people don’t want to do because of constant notifications. They said the videos will still be in your sub box but they aren’t for a lot of us. I don’t agree with having hit the bell in order to see videos.

I guess I am lucky thay my sub box works, but I don't understand why are people complaining about what Youtube is saying here then? They aren't saying that videos won't show up in sub boxes, they are saying that people won't get notified if they don't hit the bell

People are upset because the missing videos in the subbox problem will still exist regardless of if you hit the bell. I've missed so many videos, I've just started going to my subs actual channel page to view new vids. It's super annoying and needs fixed asap.

Are you talking about the sub tab? I guess it's just something I've never seen. Don't creators have access to analytics that say the % of people who found the video from the sub tab? Does the data show a decrease on those numbers?

Yes, they have been complaining for months along with those of us it is affecting. It’s great your not affected, but for those of us who are we would really like a fix to the issue. It shouldn’t be based on an algorithm. But on subscription.

And theoretically it is, right? At least that's what youtube says. I just don't see what would be the point of youtube hiding videos that have guaranteed watch time because they are from channels that you subscribed to from the sub page. I get altering the front and tending pages

Um did you watch the video, they say it’s based on an algorithm. I don’t understand why they would mess with it either. No one understands it! Why not show us what we want to watch without having to be notified. If it’s in our sub box we’ll find it when we want to see it.
