Here in the US, I watched the news with my grandparents. Both of them children of immigrants from Lithuania who came here for freedom. We cheered and shed some tears when it was announced Lithuania was free. 
#OTD in 1990 the Supreme Council of the Republic of #Lithuania adopted an Act on the Restoration of the Independent State of Lithuania. 11th March was the day when #Lithuanians became free to choose, to grow, to be themselves. And we try to do our best.
