The racism is TERRIBLE but also RANDOM. BOTH nationalities of ppl being maligned were in no way necessary to the plot; they literally just threw in some backstory avec other races for the SOLE PURPOSE of racisting them??? WHY? How come the pub reissuing didn’t READ IT FIRST?

I got a “new” romance from the supermarket, come to find out it is a reissue from 1987 and it READS AS SUCH. So many upsetting tropes (misogynistic “hero” thinks all women are slœts but comes around to his wife as an “Angel” after marital r*pe proves her a virhen, weird racism??)

I just got a push notification for a house listing. No pics, “address” doesn’t seem to exist on a map, and the descriptive selling points were “2br” “needs fencing” “has fireflies” and “with a telescope you can see the heavens!” it’s only 250k - maybe an al fresco manger sitch?
