Incredible how we are able to have heated public debates about the long term effects of virtually every other medical intervention (ex: vaccines), but are structurally denied any convo whatever on brand new, body-altering procedures being preformed on increasing amounts of kids.

Who would have thought that messing with a kid's hormones during development could have long term negative side effects!?

I would love to take time out of my busy day to agree with children who don’t know the difference between the 78 genders changing their gender but, I’m to busy snorting condoms

If I were someone waiting years for my cataract surgery or my hip replacement I'd be pretty pissed that the NHS is spending money on this. Oh yeah, and then there are those pesky ethical issues.

Yep...it can. But no doctor would allow a teenager to go through hormone therapy without making sure they’re healthy enough first and also old enough. Hormone therapy has been correlated with infertility on ocassion (1/2)
-
However the correlation is no stronger then the correlation between birth control and breast cancer. Keyword: correlation. Also hormone therapy reduces a trans teens chance of suicide :) (2/2)

Good for Dr. Griffin, and shame on every other doctor who knows she's right but fails to add their voice to hers.

Dr Griffin has the backbone to stand up for the health of these Children. Where are her colleagues? Why aren't there more speaking up on this issue? They should have her back.

Not to mention that the suicide rate for those with gender dysphoria is around 40%. It seems that moms are more interested in being trendy than their child's happiness.
