Y'all need to train the call center employees to provide accurate info. Also, the fraud dept can't tell me why my acct is locked because they can't access it. What exactly is the purpose of the call center if they can't access anything, either?

The last thing I need as someone who travels a lot for work is to be in a remote location and not have access to my account. Why not join the rest of us here in the future,

I will say that of all the surprises I got for my birthday yesterday,

definitely had the biggest one. I have zero faith in this bank now. So I will be opening an account with another bank, and once everything is transferred over I'll be closing my bank account with RBC.

They said they don't have to notify their clients because the clients will contact them once they realize they can't access their money or account. Imagine! They just wait until you're at the register trying to pay or maybe buying gas in the middle of nowhere and surprise you.

I'm fortunate enough to have access to other funds and a vehicle. Not everyone does. Imagine having to go to your main branch to unlock your bank account, but you have no money and no vehicle. What then? Other banks will text you regarding a suspicious transaction. Not

Took 2 days and going to 3 branches to get my
@RBC
account unlocked. I know it's a safeguard to protect me, but it should not be this complicated to unlock it. Mind you, it would have been easier if any of the 3 people I spoke to on the phone had given me the correct information.

to Yellowknife today for the Canadian North Arctic Comedy Festival. They give out free sandwiches on flights AND the first checked bag is free! Felt like flying in the old days, when airlines didn't nickel and dime us. Outstanding!

Highlight of our vacation had to be when someone told us they saw a couple the night before at the disco and when Pony came on, the guy went full Magic Mike on his missus who was sat in a chair. Hi, yes, that was us. He requested the song.
