It’s not going to negatively impact most creators at all and if anything it will be healthy for them. In fact consultants like me are almost the only ppl legitimately impacted... And even I don’t care that much

Well here’s the thing bud. The community makes up YouTube, that’s how companies work. They’re obligated to listen to us as their changes affect us and make us either use or not use the platform. It’s called community feedback. If the majority doesn’t want it, then don’t implement

Are you referencing the James Charles thing? People would’ve unsubscribed anyways, and that is one negative case in many other positive cases.

Still, the positive instances of people jumping in joy when they pass 100k subs or another milestone far outweighs the amount of times someone has been bullied for their sub count. Can you name specific examples of people besides James and T-Series that have been bullied.

Sub numbers will still be there so those milestones will still be celebrated, play buttons will be handed out, and "how I got my 100k videos" will still be made. Let's be honest, do we really need to know to the final digit each channel's sub count? I think not
