just a fan perspective here, i think it would be really cool if bttv did 4-man invitationals with all matches broadcast for this type of prize pool. the online scene is quite heavy on open $10-100 cups (more is merrier, but 4-man invs is very underused imo)

Could do something like a 4-man round robin to feed top 2 scores into finals and have good consistent story-lines develop throughout

I'm actually moving my Weekly cups to this format. Lacking sign-ups is frustrating, but viewership is also just so much better if you already have a pre-determined set of matches which will happen on a day. To get good sign-ups you need consistency,
