It would be great. Unfortunately this does not exist. DevTools are, currently, a way in which browser vendors friendly compete against each other, and the features that come up are often a result of each vendor's strategy and technical capability.

+1. I think friendly competition keeps the different DevTools teams on their toes and inspires us all e.g FF DevTools has some of the best Grid/Flexbox tools, 3D stacking context debugging in Edge DevTools is cool, Safari’s battery/CPU timelines are awesome etc.

Firefox DevTools are webapps that work in other browsers. At least the debugger is. The profiler can also record stuff outside Firefox. Mozilla is making steps in this direction. A few years I sent a PR to the FF debugger. First comment? Looks bad in Chrome. Had to fix it :)

You need to check in each browsers anyway. So a great reason to do x in this browser and y in that. In that case you will also find other potential bugs when you're at it
