  1. When it comes to radical Islam, a border wall is our last line of defense — not our first. Our first line of defense is a forward deployed presence working with partners to disrupt enemy operations directed at our allies and homeland.

  2. I hope President Trump will not do in Syria what Obama did in Iraq -- which led to the rise of ISIS. We also must not abandon our Kurdish allies who have fought so hard by our side in Syria.

  3. We must remember these troops are in Iraq to retake ground from ISIS after Obama’s ill-conceived withdrawal. The worst thing for morale would be to give back to the enemy territory that was previously taken through blood and sacrifice.

  4. I’m very glad to see the President and First Lady visit our troops in Iraq. It’s always good for morale to have a visit from the Commander in Chief.

  6. Hopefully, in the eyes of Democrats you are not disqualified to a be a judge because of your religious affiliations and beliefs. The Knights of Columbus are a Catholic charitable organization who have genuinely held beliefs about marriage & abortion.

  7. Share many of Netanyahu’s concerns about current situation in Turkey. Bad idea to turn northeastern Syria over to Turkey. Creates multiple problems for the US, Israel, and Kurdish allies.

  8. If we completely withdraw from Syria: * Turkey and Kurds will start a new war. * Most pressure taken off ISIS. * Iran becomes biggest winner. All can be avoided with less troops if we ‘partner’ with Turkey under the right conditions.

  9. ‘Relying’ on Turkey to destroy ISIS for the United States is a big mistake. ‘Partnering’ with Turkey to destroy ISIS - and ensuring protection for the Kurds who fought so bravely - is a big win.

  16. Democrats spend like drunken sailors on everything but border security-wall. More money needed for border security-wall to protect our country from drugs, crime, and terrorism. Hang tough Mr. President!

  18. We will hold Turkey accountable for any actions to destroy America’s Kurdish allies who have fought so bravely against ISIS. If this happens we will, in my view, put Erdogan in the same category as MBS of Saudi Arabia.
