    I hope President Trump will not do in Syria what Obama did in Iraq -- which led to the rise of ISIS. We also must not abandon our Kurdish allies who have fought so hard by our side in Syria.

    We must remember these troops are in Iraq to retake ground from ISIS after Obama’s ill-conceived withdrawal. The worst thing for morale would be to give back to the enemy territory that was previously taken through blood and sacrifice.

    Hopefully, in the eyes of Democrats you are not disqualified to a be a judge because of your religious affiliations and beliefs. The Knights of Columbus are a Catholic charitable organization who have genuinely held beliefs about marriage & abortion.

    Share many of Netanyahu’s concerns about current situation in Turkey. Bad idea to turn northeastern Syria over to Turkey. Creates multiple problems for the US, Israel, and Kurdish allies.

    Erdogan is obsessed with Israel. He knows what a moral army is and he knows what a genuine democracy is, as opposed to an army that massacres women and children in Kurdish villages and a state which, to my regret, is becoming more dictatorial day by day.

    If we completely withdraw from Syria: * Turkey and Kurds will start a new war. * Most pressure taken off ISIS. * Iran becomes biggest winner. All can be avoided with less troops if we ‘partner’ with Turkey under the right conditions.
