Stevens is a Republican. He was appointed to the Court of Appeals by Nixon and to the Supreme Court by Ford. But by all means politicize the gun debate, Senator.

In addition Senator Retired Justce Stevens is a 98 year old registered Republican who was appointed to the Supreme Court by Gerald Ford, who was so a Republican. So tell us again why this is a problem for the Democrats?
