I’ve known Chuck Schumer for years. He is not a racist, but this was an absolutely shameful reason to vote against a very qualified nominee like Marvin Quattlebaum.

Do you believe in no taxation without representation. If you do then it follows that those who pay more to the government gets more access to the government.

Now it is the Democrats responsibility to practice fiscal responsibility. Cut costs, shut down worthless programs, reduce the government workforce and lower their wages. Politico doesn't take that into account. They assume same rate of government growth as under Obama.
