The defense spending increase is significant & will go a long way to repairing the damage done by sequestration. It provides for training, equipment, & a larger military. It goes a long way toward helping fulfill President @realDonaldTrumps promise to rebuild our military.

This is a long-overdue and much-needed change. The most important dollars our nation spends are those directed to ensuring the safety and security of the American people.

#NoMilitaryParade !! $1 million++ could be used to provide shelter for homeless vets. Improve their healthcare or give them a raise. Do not waste this kind of taxpayer money on a parade to simply feed@realDonaldTrump’s fragile ego!!#NoMilitaryParadeThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Will this cover mental health services for vets that suffer terribly and commit suicide at an incredibly high rate because of PTSD?

Yeah, what about all the money the Pentagon cannot account for? All the while Vets have to wait months for an appointment and hospitals are substandard. Like everything else, lie about it or have a parade. Shameful grandstanding.
