As I have continuously stated, I believe this is an unconstitutional exercise of impeachment power, and this process will allow that argument to be made in a timely fashion.

It was my hope President Biden would call on Democratic leaders to stand down the 2nd impeachment of former President Trump, but apparently he is unwilling or unable to do so. In light of that reality, the process being proposed by Senator McConnell should work for all involved.
