He didn’t stop travel from China. He denied entry for FOREIGN NATIONALS who had travelled thru China in the 2 previous weeks *The virus was 6weeks old by then, and Americans were allowed entry REGARDLESS OF ITINERARY **the first US case was a US citizen who returning from WuHan

Thank you for pointing this out. Also, most countries were doing everything at about the same time. He was only one day ahead of most of the Schengen countries. Also also, his order didn't apply to the crews of the foreign carriers and a whole bunch of other groups.

Where are the damn test? Monterey County is doing 12-19 test a day... it’s crazy. I think the virus hit this area mid February...still no testing. It’s a shit-show in the US, because we have no leader, transparency, or trust!

The recent rise is the result of more testing. Taking the cumulative number of cases is a bad metric because the US has a much bigger population. They should add all of the members of the EU and then talk cumulative numbers. IF we test heavily, we can still flatten our curve
