The rights of citizens to confront their accusers is one that is exercised in during criminal court proceedings. At no time during an investigation are the accused afforded the right to confront and intimidate the accusers.

And even still, the accused has no rights to confront their accusers before being charged, which the House has yet to do. He's getting much better than what most people would get from a grand jury.
