Hopeful cease-fire will hold and appreciate President Trump’s commitment to making sure ISIS does not come back and get a windfall from Syrian oil reserves.

I am well aware of good proposals regarding counter-ISIS strategy in Syria coming from military leaders. Hope and expect OSD policy shop will not undercut these proposals and SecDef will push good ideas to prevent ISIS from returning.
