To the Turkish Government: You do NOT have a green light to enter into northern Syria. There is massive bipartisan opposition in Congress, which you should see as a red line you should not cross.

It should be an enormous scandal that a leading member of the President's own party is intentionally undermining the President on the world stage by trying to speak directly to a foreign government.

I mean, I'm not really sure what to think of this. Part of me is enjoying seeing the GOP fall apart over, of all things, the USA's policy towards the Kurds. But another part of me is terrified that this is more evidence of the destruction of of our institutions.
