Confirming it was moronic to invite them to Camp David for "Peace negotiations", on the week of 9/11 no less, in the first place. But hey... Mr. "It's all about me" thought he could get his Nobel Peace Prize by telling the terrorists to stop being terrorists, or something.

He was betting on being audacious, inviting them deliberately at that time, then, when he talked them out of beings terrorists on the anniversary of 9/11 he would be a hero! I think that's how it worked in his crazy, addled brain, but obviously, in real life it wasn't a good idea
