Immigrants are thriving in both North & South Carolina & are vital to the workforce & economy. And, some are illegal which means they work, pay sales, state & federal taxes, but get no social services or govt support in return. Can’t rent apartments or have driver’s licenses.

You should know this. Examples of two important SC industries needing immigrant labor are agriculture and construction. I would say, perhaps you are spending too much time in sunny Mar-a-Lago, but I understand most of their food and service workers are immigrants, too.

Is it our laws that change that will stop them migrating or will it be the change in their own country's behavior or situation that will stop the migration? I think that the #GOP and #DNC are clueless on how to stop this.

Why don’t we move the low skilled US manufacturing business currently in China, and move it to El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico. Keep economic refugees in their country and less US dependence on China. Keep Western Hemisphere democratic. It worked in Columbia.
