To reject this offer — Out of Hand — tells me that it is not about the quality of the proposal, but Democrats' desire for President Trump to fail.
The government is now shut down because Democrats refuse to work with President Trump — even after a reasonable offer was made. Very sad and disappointing.

Hey Lindsey why aren’t we seeing votes on bills brought forward by Democrats? Trump needs to stop with the it’s my way or the highway mentality.
Actually, they are bipartisan bills brought to McConnell but he won't bring them to the floor for a vote. I think McConnell forgets he works for US and NOT trump!!! Lindsey is up for reelection in 2020....hope he's voted out too!!
