It’s clear to both of us that Democrats don’t want to make a deal and will never support border wall/barriers.

They hate President Trump more than they want to fix problems — even problems THEY acknowledged to be real and serious in the past! Democrats will do everything in their power to stop Trump in 2020.

Democrats won’t compromise to build a wall. Trump won’t compromise either. Arguing that the President should simply declare a national emergency if democracy goes against him, so that he can do whatever he wishes... that’s the language of dictators, not of the rule of law.

You should be ashamed of this and of the precedent it sets. What if the next President is a Democrat? Do you really want to say they should simply ignore congress by declaring a national emergency? This is a profoundly dangerous act!
