Hopefully discussions over the weekend lead to a breakthrough that: 1 Reopens the government. 2 Provides funding for border security/wall. 3 Provides certainty to hundreds of thousands of people who will be losing their legal status and thrown into the shadows unless we act.

Stand firm! It's common sense to want a wall. Those that oppose it, live thousands of miles away from the dangerous border, living safely in their ivory towers, with high gates, tall fences & the best security systems, cameras & teams. Jerks, protect us or get out of DC.
See all the old people don’t realize we have technology that could serve similar purposes to wall. It’s not 1939 anymore Sandy! Get with the times. Border security is not just a wall. Open your mind!

Why not forfeit pay for Congress and senators. Be part of the affected yet find the solution. Change your health care package to affordable care programs and that lofty retirement package can go as well. Leaders set examples not separation.
