I completely understand why President @realDonaldTrump was insulted by French President Macron’s suggestion that Europe needs to form an army to protect it from Russia, China and the US.https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-rips-macron-after-landing-in-france-over-insulting-call-for-european-army …

President
@realDonaldTrump is right to suggest the best way to protect France and Europe is for the French and other European nations to meet their NATO contribution obligations.Show this threadThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Sir, you are JAG and know better than to lie about what Macron said. He said EU needs an army in case Trump bails on NATO. France is your oldest ally. Though I can see why you’d want to forget about Lady Liberty. She shames you and Bonespur Bob, the biggest traitor in history.
-
If this is what macron said, he did not present Trump’s NATO position clearly in the effort of arguing for an European army. Trump did not bail on NATO, the proven alliance, he asked the Europeans countries to contribute more. France did nothing. European army, good luck!

And let me remind you
@LindseyGrahamSC and@realDonaldTrump that in your beautiful country there are also graves filled with French soldiers that helped liberate the American colonies British oppression - not conquer them. The same is true for soldiers of other European countries -
Trump and Graham didnt say we needed an Army to protect us from France...If they did, Your tweet would be relevant.

Dear Intern That Reads Lindsey Graham’s Twitter: Using dead American soldiers as psychological leverage is one of the more disgusting things I’ve ever heard. And there are plenty of graves over here because of the Confederacy Trump admires so much.
Sincerely,

Without American fighting to save Europe. We will fly the German Flag. Facts matter not lies.

It's not the same U.S. it used to be back then. Now we're the aggressors on trade, tariffs, treaties. I'm sure they feel attacked, as do many American citizens. We had real leaders during the two world wars. Not an imposter pretending to pay a role for 'ratings'
-
No. We've never been "the aggressors" on trade. EU gets one over on us and we've allowed it. We helped rebuild Europe, became allies with a war ridden Germany and when we ask to be treated fairly, that NATO be funded as is their obligation they jump on us. They've had it good.
