I would like to remind President Macron that throughout his beautiful country there are thousands of graves filled with American soldiers who gave their lives to help liberate France - not conquer France. The same is true for many other European countries.

Really? Macron's comments made sense to me. Europeans have many reasons to consider the U.S. unreliable. They've listened to Trump's words. Our past military support in Europe, American graves strewn across the continent, doesn't guarantee future assistance. EU is being realistic

What did Trump tell you in the summer of 2017, on the golf course? This is a valid question. You went from being very outspoken and critical, to his #1 supporter. We WILL find out, you might as well come clean.

Macron is correct. Our allies can no longer depend upon the US

And my country, Australia, if it has any sense at all, will stop slavishly blurting its allegiance to the US. The US of the present day, and for the past 30 years, is not worth a candle of what it used to be in the 1940s and early '50s.
