@larryrstreet Ryan is RIGHT. Read Article V of the Constitution. Amendment REQUIRE 2/3rd of the House AND Senate and 3/4th (38 of 50) States to ratify the amendment. Civics 101. - 1 more reply

Kind of a risky proposal for young Barron isn't it? His mother worked here illegally and he was born before she was a citizen. Classic anchor baby, like those Russian women that give birth in trump hotels. Does he have to pay back the money if they get deported?
-
The Constitution prohibits "ex post facto" laws. The New policy can only apply to those born here after the law goes into effect. But it's in the Constitution so I wouldn't expect a liberal to know it.

So the 2nd Amendment is sacred but this one not so much? Please at least attempt to dress up your fear and bigotry with the appearance of logic like decent republicans used to.
-
This is appearance of logic. Birthright citizenship is a means to weaken 14th amendment, it's a trial balloon to see if 14A will stand. Many cases hang on 14A: Brown v Board, Roe v Wade, Obergefell v Hodges, etc. Due process, equal protection, & racial protections are in jeopardy

Please reconsider your competency as a Congressman Mr. Graham.
-
Your tweet loses value when you call a Senator a Congressman. Good effort though!!
