Finally, a president willing to take on this absurd policy of birthright citizenship.
Conversation
The United States is one of two developed countries in the world who grant citizenship based on location of birth.
This policy is a magnet for illegal immigration, out of the mainstream of the developed world, and needs to come to an end.

Those imgrigants that came here were artisans, skilled craftsmen people willing to work who came to enrich & assimilate into the American fabric not live on handouts from cradle to grave off the backs of working Americans.

Our addiction to drugs is what destabilizes their homelands. I’ve done mission work in Honduras. Drugs pass through Central America on their way here. Gangs become very rich and powerful. Families don’t have a chance. Wake up .

BS. You have to dissemble to claim this, Mr.Graham. There are many developed countries that allow jus solis. Some of these simply have regulations that the person register by a certain age. The UK for instance. It seems the "magnet" has become less powerful over recent years.

I myself had to choose to be a dual national. I only had to sign some forms that took about a year to process. My ex-wife was legally a jus soli
Tanzanian of Canadian parents. She too was a dual national but also a member of the British Commonwealth. Graham is full of it.
