So all survivors have to do is keep a calendar that says “Day Kavanaugh assaulted me.” ? Then you will believe them?

I would believe her if there was more evidence. 35 years and a edited memory is not enough. I’m sorry. I’m not a rapist, a racist, a privileged white male because I think that. I’m a normal person and I think this was a sad moment for this country.

The truth is, you didn't care what Dr. Ford said. You would support Kavanaugh regardless. His repeated lies and intemperate rage, unbecoming of any judge, mean nothing to you. You care only that he was nominated by Trump, and supporting him will get you reelected.

What do you believe him about? The legal drinking age in Maryland? He lied about that. To your committee's face. The meaning of the slang in his yearbook? He lied about that. He sat there telling lie after lie after lie, and you don't care.

Ask yourself who has more motivation for lying: the professor who's had her whole life turned upside down, or the judge who stands to land a lifetime job at a quarter-mill a year, plus bennies the ordinary Joe can only dream about?

It doesn’t matter who U or I believe. What matters is evidence, due process, rule of law. If you decide these things no longer count & are usurped by your feelings about motivation & guilt, & mob rule, UR opening the door to a nightmare future. This is not the Salem Witch Trials.
