A person can both be highly qualified and also morally unfit for the job. They are not mutually exclusive. If Hannibal Lecter were a real person I would imagine he would both be highly qualified and the right person for a food critic job. But also not the right fit.

...lack of investigation of Kavanaugh and the treatment of Dr. Ford shows the price...unfortunately it affects the safety of all women in this society. It says to men that would attack women that it is okay because there will be no investigation/no listening to allegations...

He's not the best candidate. Select someone that the majority of Americans will feel confident in. As a woman who was date raped and stayed quiet about it, I speak from experience. Kavanagh is not the best choice. Move on!
