    Clear example of the kinds of financial abuse and misuse of taxpayer funds to stifle those that are brave enough to speak up, that is also rampant in sport.

    Cuomo told his staff not to worry, their legal fees would be “covered” by New York as they testified in the sexual harassment investigation. Meanwhile, I’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars defending myself against this perpetrator’s lies & smears. More abuse of power.

    Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is more than qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice. I'm beyond frustrated watching this hearing. This is just one example of how women, esp Black women, are expected to remain patient & collected even when they're attacked, interrupted & undermined.

    As these excerpts from the new report by the federal monitor makes clear, is a human rights catastrophe happening in New York City. The details are a nightmare. It’s an emergency and should be treated as such.

    As everyone talks about a case the Manhattan DA is not prosecuting, I’m working night court representing people who are being prosecuted for possession of a crack pipe or theft of salami. And the Manhattan DA continues to ask for bail for poor people. TWO SYSTEMS OF JUSTICE.
