In The Heights is sick! As a boricua oiving in ‘la diáspora’ I teared up a couple of times and I know others did as well. Not with sadness but with pride!!! Music and lyrics were ON POINT!

We love you Lin! And it is an amazing film! It is true that we learn from feedback, but don’t Apologize for the work of genius that is helping people like me to escape the sadness I’ve been living in! Te queremos

It's wonderful you found joy from this film, but maybe don't dismiss an apology that wasn't yours to accept.

Wow. It is beautiful to recognize one’s shortcomings while still being able to take pride in one’s accomplishments. Gracias, Sr. Miranda.

I’m absolutely in love with the movie, Lin. As a afro-latina i’m proud. as a brazilian when i saw my flag in “carnaval del barrio” i cried like a baby. Thank you for all you’ve done in this movie. Thank you.

Being latin is about representativity and inclusion. Us brazilians don’t speak spanish, but we’re still part of this community, we all feel so outside of all of this but when you did it Lin, you said “you are one of us too.” and i couldn’t be more grateful!
