I wish the game had a corrupted currency that we could maybe use at a new crafting forge to roll random corruptions on gear... Like how we spend a corrupted currency at Mother to cleanse corruption. Two out of three of these things already exist just bad utilization.

Corruption should work like the Horodric Cube in D3. You find a corruption, you 'capture it', and you can apply it to any gear going forward, at the corruption cost that it demands. Otherwise, you gotta pay 10M gold for power pants.
