It’s crazy to me sometimes how fortunate I am. I’m healthy, have great friends who are always there for me when I need them (online and real life), have a loving family, and am in a comfortable financial situation.

I also have video games I’ve played since I was in middle school that I have now gotten good enough to play at a professional level for real cash prizes.

Through this extension of my life I’ve been able to network and meet with some of my childhood heroes, and have dinners with the people who actually design the game, and be a part of an awesome community. With all that being said, the biggest thing is what I’ve saved for last:

She never stops surprising me with how caring and supportive of me she is when I’m down. Even when things are going great she is always looking out. She’s an inspiration to me every day to be the best I can be.

I don’t know why I’m so lucky, but what I do know is that I can never take what I have for granted. If you have found someone like this in your life then it’s never too early to remind them. No one knows how long we have here. Don’t let the moment pass you by. /thread
