Friendly reminder that any thot who would reject you because your penis *wasn’t* mutilated isn’t worth your time. Don’t mutilate your children’s penis for thots. Thanks.pic.twitter.com/mPr2P34BaU

I mean i wouldn't go that far but i mean it's still dumb
It is often done on an infant without anesthetics, it is not uncommon for an infant boy to cry so hard they pass out from the shock. Yeah, I would classify that as child abuse.
Would be abuse if they used anesthetics.
How do you figure its child abuse? Just curious.
I have to say, im glad it was done to me as an infant. I have no recolection of it
i love the double standard people have on genital mutilation on females: wtf what monster would do this, disgusting! on males: ofc i do it foreskins are gross lol

YES. they are one in the same to me. and while a full clit removal is arguably worse than circumcision. There’s a crap ton of FGM types that are pretty much exactly the same as Male circumcision. Both are child abuse. Both need outlawing, and that includes for “muh religion”
My circumcision was performed because after a premature birth, the skin was getting infected. At the time, this would have done a lot of irreversible damage. I'll take a lack of a turtleneck over a lack of functioning penis. My parents did not abuse me, thanks.
The treatment for infection is antibiotics, not amputation. >.> Like you can TRY to argue about reducing the chance of a future infection (which is not conclusively supported by current evidence), but circumcision is not a prescription for an existing infection. At all.
The science was less absolute back then, but being three months premature I *may* have received antibiotics anyway. Whatever condition it was (phimosis most likely), they thought circumcision was the answer and urged my parents to do it. It was just risk-prevention for a premie.
Access to information was different decades ago, but at least in our current era... We have better solutions for every problem circumcision is prescribed for. Phimosis for example can be cured with mere stretching exercises, or less invasive surgery: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preputioplasty …
Not trying to make you hate your parents or anything. I hate my cut but I don't have a grudge against mine, they did their best with what information they had. We definitely should know better today, though...
You say circumcision is child abuse. But others would claim that the attention required to clean an infant penis would be child molestation. Neither is right, nor is either wrong. It is up to the parent to decide what claim of abuse they want to be charged with.
one ~is~ mutilation of the sexual organs, the other ~is~ a non-sexual act of cleaning your child. would you say wiping a child's bum for them is molestation? seems to me there's a pretty clear division.
I feel like I was robbed of something good, and I didnt even get a say. I seriously would rather have it than not.
