Travel and mind opening experiences can make it clear and show one whats really important in life, which is in a way finding yourself or your purpose.
-
That's the point being made. 'Finding yourself' doesn't mean just mean finding your purpose....it means acting on it and making it happen. Also, finding your true calling is overrated...it changes as you grow as a person & only solidifies, once you've invested some effort in it

I agree that “finding” is the wrong verb and “making” is more apt But dude what is it with you and travel / languages? Those are excellent tools for making oneself. A monolingual “man” who is afraid to leave his comfort zone is not much of a man in my book.

Finding yourself isn’t an additive pursuit, but a subtractive one. If you’re looking outside yourself, you’re looking in the wrong place.

Being a cookie cutter version of ones self, is not truly ones self. In the beginning, we were all on our own, as we will in the end, while also doing for others, do for yourself as well. Find your passion, and your inner child, and experience your "true self"
