Replying to @schaudenfraud @nachkari
Book as a whole isn't bogus, but may contain some errors (like every book out there), but I can easily imagine how Walker could reply to some of these counter claims because they're just not saying the same thing.

what do you think about him inventing a "sleep loss epidemic" and attributing it to the WHO?

I don't know, I'm sure there's a lot of people in the WHO that say a lot of things.. Found two other references to this: https://academic.oup.com/brain/article-abstract/142/6/e30/5425265 … and https://www.esquire.com/uk/life/fitness-wellbeing/a18577/sleep-loss-epidemic-insomnia-treatment/ … and this from WHO: http://www.euro.who.int/__data/assets/pdf_file/0008/114101/E84683.pdf …

first link is just some researchers using WHO data second link is a Walker press piece the last link is just a pdf about sleep - no mention of epidemics

What I'm saying it's that very possible that WHO people used that phrase at a conference or something, or that their research shows an epidemic even without using those words, and that it's a fair phrasing of findings. Don't know.
