Electorate fell for high level messaging that was appealing to some in SF but skipped the details because he had no record and he only won because of ranked choice voting. Slim chance he wins next time now that people have seen in policies in action

SF is just a stopover for many young voters. They move here for two years then move away. They are not invested in the city and care more about appearances - virtue signaling. I've lived here for decades and I would NOT be surprised if Chesa won again. Seriously.
