The govement do not pay for this the public do. Giving more public money to business that will keep getting into trouble is a waste of public money. I don't want to see anyone lose their job but people can't afford to prop up business.

If we dont give public money to business we end up giving it to the employees through welfare anyway.

Land value taxation.

Isn't the land value of a high street retail site higher than that of an out of town warehouse? I support LVT but can't see how it helps bricks and mortar retail.

We need a policy to make delivery marginally less competitive - minimum worker rates enforced - delivery co get big fines for driving violations etc.
