Rather than shift the goalposts for vital equipment like ventilators, the Government must be realistic in the promises it makes during this crisis. A true Churchillian speech right at the start would have set the scene, galvanized public support and co-operation and helped us appreciate small advances. "I have nothing to offer you but blood, toil, tears and sweat" Instead we have had smoke and mirrors as usual

Lib Dem MPs have added nothing valuable or meaningful to the Virus crisis. Stuck on and swiping from the sidelines they assume we think their relevant, those MPs who conduct themselves in a most dishonourable way will be remembered for all the wrong reasons at the ballot box.
