I don’t think this is the time to politicise and criticise but to collaborate #COVID2019
Getting more ventilators to our NHS will save lives. Umm, this was exactly his point. The government chose not to partake in a European programme to acquire them, To Which they were invited to, cause they missed the email.

Making them locally ensures we do not gobble up the world's supply and leave poorer countries with no manufacturing capacity with none just because we have money. Hopefully after these cheaper and simpler models can be sent to poorer countries to help them fight this virus.
