In the government's defence (which feels wrong...), 12 weeks is pretty close to 3 months. Review on this bill is absolutely necessary, but I don't think doing so at the peak of the pandemic is going to be useful. I agree with

Sensible people: Gov needs to do more. Lib Dems: Don’t let them do that much! The time for action is now (well it was probably yesterday actually); much as we like to think the Tories are despicable (in many ways they are) but I cannot see this as a plan to create a police state.
