You want to protect renters, who may experience a loss of income in the current crisis, by decreasing the income of landlords instead? Why don't you protect renters by protecting their income?

For the record, I am a renter, and stopping my landlord from kicking me out for not paying my rent, does not protect me from accruing debt because I will still owe them money. The proverbial kicking of the can comes to mind.
