Make sure they're grown in this country & don't carry disease please. We're going to lose millions of trees to ash dieback over the UK over the next few years.

I assume you would support a rule to ban use of those plastic tree protectors and replace with something more environmentally friendly that degrades over time - or else you basically just adding to the problem...........

We also need to protect those we have. Councils are cutting down street trees, they're being felled to build houses, roads, and car parks, and ancient woodland is being destroyed to build HS2

But don't plant them in stright lines like in the photo. Plant them randomly and create a true forest.

The straight lines.. the public private finance shark at work again.. true ‘forest’ is not dependent on commercial farming of trees.. this is plantation planting.. big companies involved.. and to get DEFRA grants most planting schemes have to include elements of this.. hmm
