Vagrancy Act just sounds as if it's a waste of police resources. Just tries to sweep the issue under the carpet rather than actually dealing with it in a proper and constructive way that might actually be of any sort of beneficial and long term help to the person concerned.

Because the social welfare system before the coalition meant nobody was homeless? How is this relevant to the vagrancy act? It doesn't invalidate an attempt to help the homeless, that is unless you are petty enough not to support it as it is the wrong party doing it...

We should be given homes, something so that they can have shelter, an adress so that they can find work. We should be equating the minimum wage to the national living wage or making it slightly more. We should not be discriminating based on age for this...
