Liberal Democrats - rather ironically - want to stop democracy. They much prefer the will of the minority and the undemocratic governance of the authoritarian EU.

Nonsense. The majority for Leaving the EU was a short term blip created by carefully targeted propaganda and illegal spending. Also, by having an abstract “Leave” people could project on it their own vision of what that meant. No actual for of Leaving has ever had a majority.
